Aregbesola Assures Completion of 9,000 Custodial Centres by December

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola has given the assurance that the 9,000 Special Facility Capacity custodial centres in three states of the country would be completed by December 2022.

These 3,000-capacity custodial centres are situated in Kano, Rivers, and Abuja.

Aregbesola said this to newsmen after a facility tour of the 3,000-capacity Ultramodern Capacity Custodial Centre in Karshi, Abuja.

He also said upon completion of the projects, inmates who are not in suitable facilities would be moved there as the projects are in various degrees of completion.
