Oyebanji Sworn in as Ekiti Governor

Abiodun Oyebanji has taken his oath of office as the new Ekiti State Governor.

On Sunday, October 16, 2022, Justice Oyewole Adeyeye, the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, administered Oyebanji’s oath of office to the approval of those in attendance.

Oyebanji succeeds former Governor Kayode Fayemi, who also served as the chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum.

In front of the enormous Ekiti people, Oyebanji took the oath of office and swore to defend, protect, and preserve the office of governor.
