PenCom Assures Regular Payments of Retirees Entitlements

The National Pension Commission, PenCom says federal retirees will no longer experience delays in receiving their entitlements.

The Director General of the Commission, Aisha Dahir-Umar stated this at an interface between stakeholders and government agencies in the 2023-2025 medium term expenditure framework and fiscal strategy.

The DG said the Federal Government has been clearing backlogs owed federal retirees for the past seventeen years.

She added that since the backlogs were almost cleared, there would be no further delays in payments in the future.
