Adamawa Election: Binani Denies Bribe Allegations

The All Progressives Congress, APC governorship candidate in Adamawa State, Senator Aishatu Dahiru, has denied allegations that she paid some staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, including Hudu Yunusa Ari, a Resident Electoral Commissioner in the poll, to declare her winner of the election.

Binani had denied giving anyone a N2bn bribe to usurp the democratic process.

However, Binani approached a Federal High Court in Abuja for leave to file an application for judicial review of INEC’s decision.

The application for leave to bring the application for judicial review was contained in an ex parte application filed on April 17.
