The Round of 16 of the 2023 AFCON was completed on Tuesday night, with the full fixtures now available for the quarter finals.

 

The last eight will kick off on Friday, after a break of two days. The competition began with 24 teams, but 16 nations have already exited the tournament. The defending champions, Senegal, were eliminated in the Round of 16, while the perennial winners, Egypt, were eliminated by DR Congo. The Atlas Lions of Morocco were eliminated in the Quarter-Finals, having lost 2-0 to South Africa, to the shock of many.
