APC Chairman Announces Ahmed Lawan Consensus Presidential Candidate

The All Progressive Congress (APC) National chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu has announced the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan as the party consensus candidate for the 2023 Presidential elections.

Contrary to the position of most of the Northern Governors on power shift to the South, the APC National Chairman Senator Abdullahi Adamu dropped the hint at a meeting of the National Working Committee meeting this morning

A member of the NWC who confirmed the development, however said that the decision was not not discussed nor adopted, adding that it was treated as a personal opinion of the National Chairman which cannot stand.
