He made the commitment today, during his inaugural address at the Nigerian Hajj House in Abuja.

He called for the support and cooperation of the commission’s management and staff to achieve these goals.

In an encouraging tone, Arabi urged those who are unwilling to make sacrifices for the commission’s success to consider their options, in accordance with constitutional provisions.

Alhaji Zikrullah Hassan, the outgoing Chairman of NAHCON, welcomed Arabi and acknowledged the challenges of assuming office during a critical time, particularly due to the shortened preparation period for the 2024 Hajj.

Represented by Alhaji Nura Yakasai, outgoing Commissioner, Policy, Personnel Management and Finance of the commission, Hassan, assured Arabi of the capable staff’s support in achieving success.

Arabi’s appointment was celebrated with the presence of prominent figures, including Alhaji Abdullahi Mohammed, the former Chairman of NAHCON, and Alhaji Aliyu Modibbo, Special Adviser to the President on General Duties, Office of the Vice-President, among other dignitaries.
