BREAKING: INEC Declares Dauda Lawal Gov-elect in Zamfara

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Dauda Lawal of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the governor-elect of Zamfara State.

According to the results released by INEC, Lawal won with a total of 377,726 votes, defeating his closest rival Bello Matawalle of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who garnered 311,976 votes.

The announcement of Lawal as the winner was made in Gusau, the state capital, in the early hours of Tuesday.
