Buhari Congratulates Xi Jinping on re-Election Victory

President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated President Xi Jinping of China on his historic election to a third term as the leader of the Communist Party of China.

In a message, the Nigerian leader said he hoped that his re-election would pave the way for deeper and enduring partnership and strategic cooperation that will be mutually beneficial to the two countries.

Xi Jinping was re-elected at the party’s 20th convention, which was held from 16th-22nd October, 2022.
