The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has disclosed that gross statutory revenue for November 2025 declined by N427.969 billion, as only N1.736 trillion was generated during the month, compared to the N2.164 trillion recorded in October 2025.
FAAC made this known in a communiqué issued at the end of its December 2025 meeting held in Abuja.
Despite the revenue drop, the committee said a total of N1.928 trillion, being the November 2025 federation account revenue, was shared among the Federal Government, state governments and local government councils.
According to the communiqué, the total distributable revenue comprised statutory revenue of N1.403 trillion, Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue of N485.838 billion and Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) revenue of N39.646 billion.
FAAC noted that a total gross revenue of N2.343 trillion was available in November 2025.
From this amount, N84.251 billion was deducted as cost of collection, while N330.625 billion was applied to transfers, interventions, refunds and savings.
The committee further revealed that gross VAT revenue stood at N563.042 billion in November 2025, representing a decrease of N156.785 billion from the N719.827 billion recorded in October.
From the N1.928 trillion total distributable revenue, the Federal Government received N747.159 billion, the state governments got N601.731 billion, while the local government councils received N445.266 billion.
In addition, N134.355 billion, representing 13 per cent derivation revenue from mineral sources, was shared among the benefiting states.
A breakdown of the N1.403 trillion distributable statutory revenue showed that the Federal Government received N668.336 billion, the states received N338.989 billion, while the local government councils got N261.346 billion.
The benefiting states also received N134.355 billion as derivation revenue.
Similarly, from the N485.838 billion VAT revenue shared, the Federal Government received N72.876 billion, states got N242.919 billion and local councils received N170.043 billion.
FAAC also disclosed that from the N39.646 billion generated as EMTL, the Federal Government received N5.947 billion, the states shared N19.823 billion, while the local government councils got N13.876 billion.
