JUST IN: UNILORIN Announces Egbewole New VC

Prof. Wahab Egbewole has been named the University of Ilorin’s new vice chancellor.

At a press conference conducted in the University’s Council chamber on Thursday night, the Governing Council announced Wahab as the new vice chancellor.

Mallam Abidu Yasid, the chairman of the university’s governing council, made the declaration.

Egbewole succeeds Professor Sulyman Abdulkareem, whose term will end on October 15, 2022, as the university’s 12th vice chancellor.

According to Yasid, Egbewole was identified after the council’s rigorous scrutiny of 13 professors over the course of the previous four days.

Egbewole is a Professor of International Law and Jurisprudence and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
