President Muhammadu Buhari has been commended for his commitment towards investing in the education and development of young scientists in Nigeria.

The Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Senator Adeleke Olorunnimbe Mamora gave the commendation at the closing ceremony of the 2023 science, technology and innovation expo in Abuja.

Mamora stated that President Buhari’s commitment is evident in the 774 Young Nigerian Scientists who benefited from the Presidential Award which granted scholarships up to the Doctor of Philosophy degree level in any Nigerian university to the three most promising young scientists in the country.
