The National Judicial Council NJC has reinstated Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia as a judge of the Federal High Court.
The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Tsoho, stated in a circular that the reinstatement takes immediate effect and that there will be consequential posting.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC charged Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia with 15 counts of money laundering and breach of public trust.
However, Federal High Court Justice Ambrose Lewis-Allagoa discharged Ofili-Ajumogobia while granting her application to quash and dismiss the allegations.
