NSCDC Arrests University Student for Alleged Murder of 17-Year-Old in Bauchi

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Bauchi has arrested a university student for allegedly stabbing a 17-year-old boy to death in Misau Local Government Area of the state.

The Commandant of the Corps, Ilelaboye Oyejide, who confirmed the arrest on Sunday in Bauchi, said the incident occurred on Oct. 20, 2023.

He said the command received information that the lifeless body of a secondary school student, Umar Usman, was found wrapped and dumped in a white cloth along Misau bypass.

According to Oyejide, the suspect would be charged to court.
