Sanwo-Olu Disbands Lagos Properties Special Operations Team

The Lagos State government has received numerous complaints about the disorderly activities of the Landed Properties Special Operations Team of the Lagos State Building Control Agency LABSCA, which is part of the Ministry of Physical Planning.

Following a thorough review of these complaints from well-meaning Lagosians, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has ordered that the team, led by Engineer Peter Omotoso, be disbanded immediately.

In a statement, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, said it is part of the steps the administration is taking towards repositioning the ministry and its agencies for better services to the public.

He added that it will be illegal to carry out any action in the name of the team until it is rebranded and reconstituted; anyone who flouts this directive will face severe consequences of his/her action.
