Simi Speaks on 2023 Elections, Reveals Disappointment

Nigerian music star Simi, also known as Simisola Kosoko, took to her Instagram story on Wednesday to share her thoughts on the 2023 elections.

In her post, she expressed her surprise at how some people have changed her opinion of them.

She went on to criticize those who openly support individuals who engage in wicked acts without fear of repercussions.

Simi advised that such individuals should do it quietly instead of flaunting their support.

She concluded by stating that such behavior is not courageous or brave, but rather ignorant and proud.

The singer wrote, “A lot of people have surprised me this election. Lost whatever respect many have had for them.

“‘It’s my choice’ is fair; but when people do wicked things in daylight without fear of repercussion, and you still support them, it serves you better to do it quietly.

“You’re not courageous, or brave, or strong in the face of adversity. You’re ignorant. And proud.”
